The New Alexandria Volunteer Fire
Department
Incorporated July 1930 with it's first apparatus being a two
wheeled hand drawn cart equipped with a 100 gallon Soda Acid
Extinguisher.
Since the inception of The New Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department,
many good citizens, too numerous to mention have served as Officers and
members dedicated to the true concept of the fire service.
To save lives and protect
property

The New Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department
also has an Auxiliary that was organized in August of 1962 with
it's objective being to assist the Fireman, take an interest in
civic affairs and promote harmony between the Firemen and their
families.
After it's operating expenses all money earned by the Auxiliary is
used to purchase needed equipment for the Fire Department.
